Mild, pleasant spice, underlined by a fruity-lemony bitterness.

This classic Thuringian marjoram is used in potato dishes. It is often combined with thyme and bay leaf, in addition, it blends very well with black pepper and particularly well with juniper.
This combination is particularly suitable for hearty meat stews and game dishes. Marjoram goes well with heavy vegetables like legumes or cabbage, it tastes excellent in liver and blood sausage.
