Juniper berries whole

Spicy flavour, mild bitter note and a slightly resinous sweetness.

Juniper is widely used in traditional cuisine of Central Europe. The main application area of juniper is meat, especially game dishes. Even with poultry dishes, sauerkraut, cabbage, smoked meats, marinades, soups and sauces, it provides an aromatic spice. He gets along well with pepper, marjoram and bay leaves.

For a particularly strong aroma juniper berries should be crushed immediately before use!
